About
From a young age, I have been captivated by storytelling, starting with writing my own short stories and news scripts. This early passion guided me to pursue a journalism degree at the University of Houston, which launched my career as a TV news reporter in West Texas and Austin. Throughout my reporting years, I covered a wide array of stories, from national headlines to hyper-local events, each shaping my understanding of storytelling’s power to influence change, connect people, and spark meaningful dialogue.
In 2019, seeking a new challenge, I transitioned from the news business to a public relations role at Clear Creek ISD. There, I further refined my skills in visual storytelling, strategic communication, and media outreach. Now, with nearly a decade of experience, I serve as a Media Specialist at the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO). In this position, I spearhead innovative media initiatives that elevate our brand and engage both internal and external stakeholders. I manage a diverse range of projects, from crafting impactful press releases and newsletters to media event planning.
I am thrilled to explore new opportunities and continue to grow in the field. My goal is to evolve as a communicator, tackling new challenges to make a meaningful impact.
